Where are all 900 Korok seeds?
We mapped every Korok seed in Breath of the Wild from the game's own coordinates: how close they sit, where they crowd together, which ones are all alone, and how far it is to collect every one.
Key findings
01 · The map
A Korok every 150 m, on average.
These are all 900 seeds where the game puts them, and they draw Hyrule all by themselves. On average a seed is 150 m from its nearest neighbour on the map; half are within 139 m. 287 of them (32%) have another seed within 100 m. Hover or tap a dot to see where it is.

02 · How far apart
64% of the seeds are 50 to 200 m from the next one.
Only 90 sit within 50 m of another seed, and 10 are 400 m or more from any other. The closest two are 4.5 m apart: L17 and L18, at Farosh Hills.

03 · The busiest spots
Hyrule Castle packs 21 seeds into 500 m. No other spot has more than 11.
Inside a circle 500 m across, centred on X14, the castle's 21 seeds are stacked 400 m from top to bottom. The next busiest is Scout's Hill, with 11.

04 · The loneliest seeds
The loneliest seed is 572 m from any other.
It's W51, near Dragon's Exile in the Gerudo desert. Three of the 10 loneliest are pinwheel balloons, the ones you pop with arrows.

05 · Up and down
Most seeds sit 100 to 200 m up: 370 of them.
The highest is H28, on Hebra Peak at 839 m. The lowest is K14, at Forgotten Temple, 1 m up. The median seed is 217 m up.

06 · The trip
Collecting all 900 is about 200 km.
That's flying in a straight line, seed to seed, along the route here: 222 m per seed, or 4.7 marathons. It's a very good route, not a proven shortest one. The longest leg is 1,036 m, from North Akkala Beach to Rist Peninsula; 154 legs are under 100 m. The shortest is 1.7 m on the map, between two seeds at the Sanctum, but one is 84 m above the other.

About this data
Download CSV ↓Every Korok seed placed in Breath of the Wild's world: 900 of them, each with its ID, its puzzle and its position in in-game meters. Distances are map distances, seen from above the way the map shows them; the closest pair is measured in 3D, since two seeds that overlap on the map can sit far apart in height.
The route is a travelling salesman tour: nearest neighbour, then 2-opt, which keeps uncrossing the route until no swap makes it shorter. It isn't proven to be the shortest. Place names are the nearest map label to each seed.
